Activities

  • Encourage the student to try improvising in these keys, to help secure the key signatures. This does not need to be complicated. You can start by playing the scale notes but improvising a rhythm.
  • These three scale dexterity workouts can help students to secure their 2 octave C major scales. Transpose the exercises into different keys, to use this technique with other scales patterns.
